1) Overview

Pandu AI is designed with privacy by default. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising or marketing purposes.

To power AI conversations, voice, and image understanding, the content you provide (your messages, your voice audio, and any images or files you share) is transmitted — through Pandu's servers or directly from the app — to our third-party AI provider, xAI Corp (the provider of the Grok models), where it is processed to generate responses. We do not store your conversations on our servers and we do not monetize your data.

2) What We Collect

  • Account & Personal Data: Not collected.
  • Conversation Content: Your messages, voice audio, and any images or files you share are sent to our AI provider (xAI Corp) to generate responses. They are not stored on Pandu's servers.
  • Identifiers: No advertising IDs or tracking cookies are used.
  • Analytics: We do not run third-party analytics that profile users.

Before any of this content is sent for AI processing, the app asks for your explicit consent. You can decline, in which case AI features are not available.

3) On-Device Processing

Where supported, Pandu AI processes inputs locally on your device. If a feature requires remote processing, only the data necessary to fulfill your request is sent, and it is not persisted by us.

4) Third-Party AI Provider

Pandu AI relies on xAI Corp (the provider of the Grok family of models) to deliver its chat, voice, and image-understanding features. The content you provide — your typed messages, your voice audio, and any images or files you share — is sent to xAI, either through Pandu's servers or directly from the app, solely to generate the AI responses you request.

xAI processes this data under its own privacy policy, available at x.ai/legal/privacy-policy, and is contractually required to protect your data to a standard equal to or greater than that described in this policy. Your data is not shared with any third party for marketing or advertising purposes.

5) App Permissions

If Pandu AI requests a device permission (e.g., microphone for voice chat), it is used solely to provide that feature. You can revoke permissions at any time in your device settings.

6) Data Retention

We do not retain conversation data on our servers. Configuration or preference data saved on your device remains under your control.

7) Security

We apply industry best practices to protect any minimal, transient data flows required to provide features. No method of transmission is 100% secure, but we continuously work to maintain a high security standard.

8) Children

Pandu AI is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided data through optional integrations, please contact us and we will assist.

9) International Use

Optional external services you enable may process data in other regions under their policies. Pandu AI does not transfer or store your conversation data on our servers.

10) Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide notice in-app.
